To know if someone has a WhatsApp account, the common way you used must be enter his number in the WhatsApp search box, and then make a query. If this person has a WhatsApp account, then you can send a message to him. If he does not have a WhatsApp account, WhatsApp will prompt you "No conversation, contact or message found"
